Interior book design is, like indexing, an art unto itself that doesn't really lend itself well to templates since each work is so unique. There are several good books that discuss the 'how-to's' of design, but unless you have PageMaker or Quark, or access to either, it's really hard to get a professional look.

You might want to consider hiring an interior designer, who'll read your book, create a great style for it, and send the finished (perfect) file to the printer for you. If you'd like a referral to someone, please email me.
